Yes, already the first month of this new year has passed. Time stops for no-one and it would seem that the older we get, the faster it passes! January was busy for me on the psychic side of things. Several open platforms, a training workshop, tarot readings and other stuff. My day job, however, was extremely quiet. Well, apart from one epic journey, from Southampton to Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Birmingham, Oxford and then home.
February brings more workshops booked in the diary, tarot readings and more work to the website. But I would like more courier work too. So spirit - pay attention, I need money too!

I strongly believe in the well-known phrase, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear". It would seem that because I have set some exciting goals for this year regarding my growth, and because I am taking action on them, the teacher is appearing. The teacher, in this case, is the Divine Spirit. 

Within the past couple of weeks I have had some wonderful inspiring events happen to me. They have left me with a feeling of humbleness and excitement. This week alone, and its only Thursday, I have experienced an interesting lesson through a psychometry exercise, and I have shared a link with a young man in spirit and given actual proof messages from him.

It's good, this spiritist lifestyle. I can't think of many hobbies as fulfilling.

Just completed my first tarot reading of 2012. I learned something quite valuable doing this reading. The question that was asked by the querent had too many threads to it and so I took quite a time to redefine the question to put to the cards. I used a simple three card layout, Answer, Obstacle, Outcome. That in itself was quite odd. Obstacle being the middle card should mean that the last card might be advice. I felt compelled not to change it and the reason became obvious in the reading. There was not advise to give. The answer and the obstacle cards were self-explanatory and the querent would know the advise because it was all wrapped in the obstacle.
What was further amazing about the reading was that though I changed the original question, the answers to my newly defined question actually did deal with the original question as well. 
I found this reading very easy to do in that my own thoughts were not intentionally playing a part in the reading. I do hope I get some feedback from this reading

Monday attending Christchurch Theatre for Colin Fry & Friends event. Tuesday evening with James for practice session. Wednesday night at church podium practice. Thursday night - fledglings night at church. Psychically - a lot going on.

I've just complete another three card tarot reading for an ebay client. This was quite a unique reading in that the message was absolutely as clear as clear could be with the cards. Of course, I listened to my intuition throughout the reading but really didn't have to say much other that the meanings of the cards.

Obviously it would be unethical to give the name of the client here but I feel I can suggest the question they asked and the cards he received.

The question was would this person rekindle their relationship with their ex within the next 6 months.

The layout was three cards : Answer, Advice, Outcome
The answer card was 8 WANDS reversed. The advice card was THE STAR reversed. The outcome card was the ACE WANDS upright.

At the beginning of my spiritual journey a few years back I started to keep an online daily journal as was recommended by all the mentors at that time. It was where I wrote my thoughts, details of happenings and much more. I stopped it because I became concerned with my own reasons for running the diary.

Almost daily I was checking the site stats to see how many people had visited it. This made me concerned that the reasons for running the journal were the wrong ones. I felt that there was too much ego involved and that the whole point of the journal was lost in attempting to make it something that it wasn't. And so I closed it down to the public. That seen its end effectively. Not a single entry was added after that event.

I enjoy writing and recently I have wondered about reopening the original blog back up. Then along came this site. Built within this website system is a way of running a blog and that appealed to me. So this is the very first entry in the new Psychic Apprentice diary.

Here I will post thoughts, lessons, essays, tarot readings perhaps, book quotes, diary events and pretty much anything I want to. I also intend bringing some of the content of the old blog to this site. I will probably rewrite a lot of it now that my knowledge and experience have increased.

So that is it. The diary is up an running! I already know what my next entry will be about as I have just spend an incredible hour or so with my best mate James in a healing and meditation session that was just out of this world. Read on!!
