Recently I decided to learn Tarot as part of my mediumship development. A combination of audio and reading training combined with a couple of courses with Mark Stone gave me enough of the basics to get going.

The art of Tarot is a vast subject and many readers will have taken a lifetime to get to where they are today with it. So it is without hesitation I pronounce that the little bit I know is menial compared with many.

Why it works for me, however, is that combined with my mediumship I am able to offer better insight into readings without me being hung up on it being 'my mind'. I never cease to be amazed at how intuitive the cards are.

Tarot cards align with the energies projected onto them. As you shuffle the deck, both you and your energies will place the cards where they are most beneficial.

Focus on being peaceful and the question  that you are questioning, and simply shuffle the deck until the cards feel right. The cards will tap into the spirit realm or the energies of the individual to give their reading.

Think of a question that you want an answer to. The question must be able to be answered with a Yes or No and ideally within a sensible period of time. For example, the question "Will I ever pass my driving test?" though answerable with a Yes or No does not really allow the power of the tarot to work. Whereas " Will I pass my driving test in the next six months?" is more accurate. Avoid putting too much information around the question, though obviously the question should be clear and without hidden factors.

I may rephrase or strip back the question for the reading and an explanation why will be included in the reading. After you receive your reading file I recommend archiving it after you have read it and revisiting in again in six or so months. You can then judge how much of the reading has come to fruition.

After you have studied the reading it is extremely helpful to send me some feedback. I almost want to make it compulsory!  I need feedback about the content of the reading, especially where names and dates are mentioned. Without your comments I have no way of honing the intuitive skills. I need to know what is accurate and what is not so I can understand my own interpretation of the message.
